The barn conversion
Eastgate Barn conversion was completed in 1998. Many materials used were reclaimed from the original farm buildings or purchased from a reclamation yard. We employed local people for the building works and joinery.

Eastgate woodland
In 2000 we began our farm woodland project and that winter planted 1200 trees on the steeper ground in the valley. This is now home to birds, butterflies, a roe deer, badgers, bats and other small mammals. It's a lovely walk - see our wildlife walk
