Environmental Stewardship

 

 Many farms throughout England are now managed according to the Environmental Stewardship Scheme criteria, with agreed aims to:
  • improve water quality
  • improve conditions for farmland wildlife
  • maintain and enhance landscape character
  • protect the historic environment
This new scheme helps to protect our traditional farmland features; the Cornish hedges, buildings and field systems.
